The songs you will find here are from the acoustic side of things, from the days of Curnutte and Maher, as well as some solo recordings from Steve. Some of which are songs you wont find anywhere else. Each song is presented with a story written by Steve about the song which adds a lot to it I think to know a bit of the history of the music. Through out Steve's career they played countless shows all over the country and some of which I am lucky enough to have copies of. I remember many of these shows and evidentially there its a good thing we recorded some of them simply because Steve would write songs and play them just one time and on a couple of occasions he would listen back to some of the recordings and rediscover forgotten songs. You will also find stories about the songs I am sharing here. Click here to view the songs.
Here you will find music from the electric guitar era of Steve songwriting, the days of Lackey and the band. Funny, I could swear I remember they wanted to call the band Drywall at one point. Anyway, these songs are clearly a lot more involved than the acoustic singer-songwriter approach from his acoustic work. Like the other sections you will find stories with each song presented to lend some insight to its creation. Click here to view the songs.
