Technical Requirements
Sound
FOH - Professional 16ch console w/phantom power. No Peavey,
Phonic, Sound Tech, Mackie or any entry level desks. Drive
rack with quality 1/3 octave EQ, no short faders. LACKEY
FOH engineer reserves right to adjust house EQ.
Stacks & Racks to cover venue with full band width
sound 35hz to 16khz and the system needs to be free of hums
and buzzes. It should be noted that LACKEY has a wide
dynamic range (around 25 dbSPL A Weighting) with an average
level of 109 db at the mix position and headroom peaks of
118 db. If this is a problem we must be contacted before
the show date.
Monitors -
Matching bi-amped wedges
as per above plot with minimum of 1 - premium 12" speaker
& 1 - 2" horn. Minimum two separate mixes. Mix one -
front wedges. Mix two - drum wedge. Monitor Engineer.
Lackey travels with a full set of microphones and a small
effects rack. We will need you to provide stands and
cables.
LACKEY requires a complete line check and a minimum two
song sound check to set FOH balances and monitors.
Lighting
A minimum of two FOH specials for Matt and Steve and three
color washes. No DJ lights please. Light engineer.
